Just thought I'd upload some pictures of Bernadette's ficus, the schefflera cuttings and the ficus cuttings.
So here's some pictures of Bernadette's ficus, post leaf reduction and after leaves have started to come in. I've been keeping the ficus under the shop light, 24 light schedule. We've had this ficus for 20 years now, and it's followed us from San Diego, to Perris, CA to Phoenix, AZ and now here in Port Angeles, WA. When you've had a tree this long and it doesn't belong to you, there is a lot of apprehension when performing leaf reduction. But sometimes you gotta say FUCK IT!
Next there's some pictures of the schefflera cuttings. Yeah they look crappy, I don't care. These were cuttings I would have tossed, so I'm glad I was able to do something with them. Very little risk if they die. If you look closely, you'll see that some are dieing off. I was expecting that. FUCK IT!
Finally I have pictures of the ficus cuttings. You can see how I bundled the cuttings together and had them in water. They're starting to show some roots.
Very soon it will be time to pot them up. I don't know where I'm going to put them, I'll cross that bridge as I get to it.
That's it for now. I did say it's a quick update. Might have more later this weekend. Would just be some ramblings for myself.
