Working on Customer Order

I've been working on a special order item for a customer. She thought my octopus pots weren't crazy enough, so she asked to include some buggy eyes and a 'Zoidberg' like mouth with hanging mini tentacles.

The initial response was that the eyes were a good size, but was still missing something. And while making those changes, it was decided to include a lot less tentacle legs. Through goig back and forth, exchanging thoughts and ideas, we decided on a final shape and have made a few 'Zoidbergs'.

So now we have the initial protoype and we're experimenting with colors and glazes. I had a few items I was raku firing this weekend, and took the opportunity to explore a few glazes. My go-to glaze, Del Favaro, has been acting very erratic, doing things I don't intend. The results are still fantastic, but not what was expected.
