Father's Day I went to Home Depot and picked up a couple of dwarf rhododenron. They had 1 gallon size for just under $10. I picked out a couple nice ones, brought them home and drastically pruned them. They looked so good, I went out the following weekend and picked up a couple more. This time they were on special, so they cost about $6.50 each. I *really* need to upload some pictures, as they look very nice! I really didn't do anything except just cut back the branches and trimmed the roots.
I took a close look at them today and they're starting to bud. Looks like they survived the drastic pruning, but time will tell. The trunks have some really good movement with a nice aged look.
Umm.... not much else going on. Not true. stuff is growing and I continue to make some clay. I just don't want to say too much. At least not yet.
