This is a picture of an older, wired cutting, with an octopus type bonsai pot. I wired the SHIT out of this bonsai! If you take a close look at the trunk, you can still see where the wire cut into it from leaving on too long. Not a good thing. However, with these ficus, the wire was only on a matter of WEEKS. More training wire is visible on some of the branches, where I'm continuing to work on the shape of the tree.
On the wall behind my tree is my 'kabuki' mask.
