It's a gorgeous day out. Noticed my ficus cuttings are all growing nice and very green. Actually took cuttings of some of my cuttings, and more cuttings from my bonsai trees. With a lot of luck, they'll all take. I've noticed the ficus benjamina cuttings don't do so well unless I put them in water for a water first. The ficus retusa cuttings usually take just fine.
I have a home made watering system, and the incredible heat does deteriorate the PVC after a while. One of my pipes busted, and I was too lazy to fix it, so I plugged it with some wood. Worked for a couple months. I finally put a more permanent fix last weekend, appears to be working. I say more permanent because I know the sun will eventually deteriorate the fittings again.
