So a few things since my last post in July 31- My posting back on June 25 mentioned that I was laid off. Well I went back to work in October. I really enjoyed the time off and the extra time made for a great summer vacation. On the other hand, the lack of money made that time very stressful at times. I really didn't do a whole heck of a lot with my pottery nor my bonsai as a result. What can I say, I was distracted. Well I'm back to the grind and I'm feeling more motivated to do some clay, but I find myself lacking the time to do it. So there is the great compromise- unemployed with lots of time on my hands to tackle projects, but too distracted with satisfying basic survival needs to actually look at special projects versus gainfully employed, but not really a whole lot of time to do these special projects. This Saturday, November 14 is the Phoenix Faerie Fest. It's sort of a ren fair, but with a fey theme. This year they're going to trade a 'Goblin Market', which is a barter only market. I'm going to attend with my various goods and goodies. It should be a lot of fun.
