In case anyone is wondering why I haven't posted anything in a while is because I got laid off end of May. I knew it was coming for a while; I have to admit I was a bit depressed knowing I was going to get canned, but now that's it's happened, I understand how caustic the job situation really was for me.
I've been unemployed for about a month now and I'm really enjoying having some extra time. I sleep in when I feel like it, I eat lunch with my lovely wife EVERY day and I explore every creative whim that comes my way. Honestly I enjoy it and I wish that I could spend my days following my bliss. Unfortunately I have bills that need to be paid, so I have to work soon.
So what have I been up to? If I did it properly, you should be seeing an example or two or three of some things I recently did.
What can I say, I've been very much influenced by the description of Cthulhu (giant mass of tentacles, abject of horror, wings) as well as marine sea life and alien life forms. I love molluscs and invertebrates!
