I just added a new item to my shop:

Quoting Wiki:

Cthulhu is a fictional giant creature, one of the Great Old Ones in H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. It is often cited for the extreme descriptions given of its appearance, size, and the abject terror that it invokes. Cthulhu is often referred to in science fiction and fantasy circles as a tongue-in-cheek shorthand for extreme horror or evil.

Perhaps you've seen my descriptions of my Mogs:

I was going to call them Mogwai, from the Movie Gremlins, but I found out that means 'Evil Spirits' in Chinese.

These little Mogs are anything but evil. They are benign woodland spirits, perhaps a bit mischievous. Care should be taken, or they might run away.

Here is what happens to a benign, mischievous woodland spirit that is allowed to wander the dark corridors of the natural world for too long and unto itself. Small horns have sprouted belying its devilish nature. In the absence of light, mushrooms have grown where eyes should be, allowing it to 'see' in the darkest of dark, but making it sensitive to the light it once basked in. Wings have sprouted on this Mogwai, an unusual thing! Although it can fly quite well with them, the main purpose of its wings are to listen with. Long red forked tongue and the tentacles around it's mouth allow it to taste the floor, making it a tracker, second to none. A long scaly tail finishes the look of this formidable Mogwai.

Though it chooses to serve Cthulhu, it does so only while that service pleases itself. This Mogwai does not possess, nor can it truly understand fear, horror, and evil. It serves its master merely for the enjoyment of the mischief it creates.

Many a battle has this Mogwai seen, and many a wound has been inflicted upon it. Most of the tentacles surrounding its mouth have long been lost. Its tongue is now missing one of its forks. It's right foot has been lobbed off, though it chooses to keep the functional yet dismembered foot as a source of enjoyment and mischief. So many times has that foot been thrown at someone or something in the darkest recesses, either to throw it off or for whatever reason it chooses.

Whew! What a storyline! Hey, what can I say, this little guy inspires me. He's wickedly cute with mushroom eyes that stare blankly into space and curvy little horns that peek up from behind. A long spikey tail and great, big oversized dragon feet that look more like chicken feet add plenty of character. The pointy folded wings, a long forked tongue, and whiskers are the finishing touches to this whimsical Mogwai. And YES! he has battle damage!! One of the forks on his tongue is broken off and his right foot is hacked off at the ankle. To add insult to injury, he's got NO arms! What does this leave us with?

A FANTABULOUS Mogwai! Mouth is all agape and his bright red (heat wave glaze) tongue spews out. The wings and mushroom eyes are done in Primitive Fire glaze, which went more blue than black this time. The scales on his tail are done in the same Heat Wave glaze that his tongue was done. The majority of his body and tail were done in my personal favorite raku goldburst glaze.

Hand sculpted by me, No molds were used in its creation, nor any molds taken. Very unique, One of a Kind (OOAK), piece. As with all my pieces, I reserve the right to do another similar piece in the future, but each will be unique.
